Surbhi Karwa (she/her)

Surbhi Karwa worked as a Senior Research Associate at CJLS and is a Lecturer at Jindal Global Law School (currently on leave). She is a BCL graduate (Distinction) from the University of Oxford. Previously, she has done her LLM from NLU- Delhi, and B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) from RMLNLU-Lucknow. She has been a Visiting Faculty at NLU-Delhi and a researcher in the chambers of Ms. Indira Jaising. She was also Bonavero Institute Fellow at SERI-South Africa.
Surbhi is currently pursuing PhD at UNSW Sydney on funding through ARC Fellowship on Democratic Resilience. She is researching on feminist constitutionalism and Indian Constituent Assembly under the supervision of Prof. Rosalind Dixon. She is member of Gilbert+Tobin Center on Public Law at UNSW.
