I am very grateful for my internship experience at CJLS. I decided to intern with CJLS because I wanted to research on the socio-economic issues that are prevalent in the country and I am grateful for the opportunity that was provided to me to work on the abortion law research. It provided me with the opportunity to learn about an issue I have not studied yet in my first year. Similarly, the reading groups were crucial in incorporating critical thinking. The three sessions that used different kinds of writing and on different themes allowed me to explore and appreciate them. I also enjoyed different perspectives from fellow interns and the provocations by Prof. Dipika and Vrishti Ma’am. The 'Life After Law' sessions and the 'Scholar Talks' were very insightful too. I really enjoyed how the scholars belonged to different law schools and pursued what they wanted to and provided insights into different ways one can pursue higher education. It definitely gave me the confidence to pursue higher education. Overall, I really enjoyed the internship and I learned a lot about academia and research and I wish to work with CJLS in future. I am also very thankful to Prof. Dipika and Vrishti Mam, their guidance was very much an essential part of this Internship and I learned a lot from them.
